as the Key West Saloon, Sloppy Joe's began back in December of 1933
at the end of prohibition. Owned by Joe Russell, this popular bar
located on Duval Street in Key West was frequented by legends such
as Ernest Hemmingway. They will have a retail segment in addition to
the restaurant venue. Today Sloppy Joe's is expanding to Ocean Walk
Shoppes keeping the enjoyable atmosphere in tact. Anticipated
opening, January 2010.
